Identity and Branding Modules

Who may sign in to your application, how it looks, and who may register at its address.

SSO

Single sign-on lets people sign in with an account they already have — Microsoft, Google, Apple, or your own company identity provider — instead of a separate password. Each provider you configure and enable appears as a button on the sign-in page.

  • Quick setup for the common providers, and any OpenID Connect issuer through discovery.
  • A returning user is matched to their account by email; a provider can be allowed to create accounts for people who have none yet.
  • A provider can be disabled without losing its configuration, and users keep a password sign-in as well if you allow one.

Branding

Make the application yours. Upload your logo and icon, choose five colors for light mode and five for dark (everything else — hover shades, borders, focus rings, table accents — is derived), pick a font, and put the application on your own domain. The theme applies to every user, the sign-in page included, and screenshots on your own site show your application, not ours. Branding is included with the Public edition.

Public edition

A Private application is for your team: users are invited by your administrator, and there is no other way in. The Public edition is for your customers, dealers and partners:

  • Self-registration at your application’s address, in the mode you choose: open to anyone, held for your approval, or limited to email addresses at domains you approve. Invitations still work in every mode.
  • Unlimited users, with per-user allowances on catalog reads so a public catalog is browsed, not harvested.
  • No Stardraw Cloud footer on drawings, reports or emails: what your users see is entirely your brand, which is why Branding comes with it.

On the Public edition every module costs ten times its Private price, with Branding included. Any application can move between the editions; nothing is deleted either way.
